Request for Information Certification and Student ID Requests

All Personnel needing or requesting certification, please send the following information to the Compliance Mailbox (usarmy.leonardwood.chemical-schl.mbx.cbrn-dotld-compliance-team@army.mil) with Last, First and MI, full SSN and or student id.

Manages the CBRN School Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Responder and Technical Rescuer certification program at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Camp Dawson, West Virginia.

 
2007 - CBRN School accredited to issue International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and PRO-Board credentials for HAZMAT Awareness, Operations and Technician levels of certification. 
 
2017 - CBRN School accredited to issue IFSAC and PRO-Board credentials for competencies delegated for National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006 Chapters 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 19.

CBRNS HAZMAT Awareness, Operations and Technician Levels Annual Refresher Training
 
Personnel without Awareness Certs prior to attending any CBRN School resident course or receiving Mobile Training Team (MTT) instruction must visit the
Total Force Virtual Learning Center website and take the Awareness training and provide a copy of their certificate of completion to the course supervisor. Upon arrival they will be required to take and pass a proctored exam with a minimum score of 75% and perform a skills test, to complete the Hazmat Awareness Level Certification. Personnel are allowed two attempts to pass the exam without being dis-enrolled from the course. This is a requirement for enrollment in Operations.

As of 01 January 2021, most TFVLC certification courses will become unsupported. These courses are in the process of being updated and replaced. Students might start having issues with the imbedded videos and other media and are highly encouraged to complete any courses they are currently enrolled in prior to this date.

 
Air Force Fire & Emergency Service (AFCEC) Certification Lookup
Currently, the FLW Compliance Team will be able to verify certification of Soldiers. Soldiers requesting certification must provide a @mail.mil or @army.mil address, we are unable to send certificates to personal email addresses.  

 

Soldiers attending Hazmat Residence or Non-Residence course and needing to take the Awareness online on the (TFLVC) Total Force Virtual Learning Center.  Please contact the course supervisor 30-45 days, prior to start date of class to receive there student ID and complete the prerequisite and attain a copy of your Awareness certificate prior to course attendance.
