CSM Vincent Green was born on March 12, 1982, in Swainsboro, Georgia and graduated from Swainsboro High School in May of 2000. He enlisted in the United States Army in 2000. He completed One Station Unit Training for Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Specialist (54B) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Command Sergeant Major Green’s units of assignment include, 92nd Chemical Company, Fort Stewart, GA; 2/17th Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Carson Colorado, 2/77th Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Carson Colorado; 3-10 Infantry Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, MO; 21st Chemical Company, Fort Bragg, NC; Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, Fort Leonard Wood, MO; HHBN 3rd Infantry Division Fort Stewart, GA; and Eighth Army Camp Humphreys, South Korea. His duty positions include Decontamination Specialist, Company CBRN NCO, Squad Leader, Senior Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Small Group Leader (Senior Leader Course), Battalion Assistant Operations NCO, CBRN Staff NCO, First Sergeant, Division Chemical Sergeant Major, and the G34 Protection Sergeant Major.
Command Sergeant Major Green’s military education includes all levels of Non-Commissioned Officer PME. To include Sergeant Majors Course (Class 71). He has also completed Common Faculty Development Course, Master Resiliency Course, CBRN Reconnaissance for Brigade Combat Teams (L6), Advance CBRN enabler course (L3), Combatives Level II, Equal Opportunity Course, First Sergeant Course, Drill Sergeant School, and Air Assault School. He holds an Associates of Arts from Central Texas College and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College.
