LTC James C. Taylor was born in Canton, North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Masters of Liberal Studies from N.C. State University Raleigh, NC, in May 2004/06. He received his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Chemical Corps from the Reserve Officers Training Corps and was assigned to Fort Campbell, Kentucky 2007 upon completion of Ranger Training at Fort Moore, GA.

Smith, Hawaii.
