CSM James L. Woodson Jr. was born on 15 October 1972 in Pensacola, FL.He graduated from Escambia High School in Pensacola, FL in June 1991.He enlisted into the U.S. Army in October 1994 as a 54B, Chemical Operations Specialist which is now known to be a 74D.
