The Commandant of the U.S. Army Engineer School leads the institution responsible for developing the combat, general, and geospatial engineers who build, fight, and solve problems for our Army. From bridging a river under fire to constructing an airfield or analyzing terrain, Army Engineers provide the essential skills that enable maneuver and ensure our forces can go where they are needed and have what they need to succeed. The school's mission is to forge the next generation of "Essayons" leaders and professionals, grounded in a legacy of technical excellence and a warrior spirit.
