Colonel Danielle K. Rodondi

COL Danielle K. Rodondi hails from in Island Pond, Vermont and graduated with an associate degree in Nursing from Castleton State College in 1997. She entered the Army in the Skills for Stripes program and served 4 years as a 91C at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She continued her work at Walter Reed as a GS 11/12 for the next 4 years. In 2004, COL Rodondi earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland and received a direct commission. In 2012, she earned her master’s degree in nursing from Florida Southern College as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and in 2023 a master’s in strategic leadership from Air War College, Air University. Her military education includes Basic Training, Primary Leadership Development Course, AMEDD Officer Basic Course, AMEDD Captain’s Career Course, Intermediate Level Education, and Air War College.
COL Rodondi recently served as the Nurse Advisor for the ASA M&RA Health Affairs Team in the Pentagon. COL Rodondi is a board-Certified Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Polk County Advanced Practice Nurses Association, 2015 AMEDD Iron Major, 2016 Military Health Science Nursing Leadership Award, 2022 The Knight of the Honorable Order of Saint Michael.
COL Rodondi is blessed with loving parents, sisters, nieces, nephews and two grand nephews. Mom Corinne lives with her and two precious fur babies Willow and Waffle. Hobbies include a love of cruises, reading murder mystery novels and love of sports.
