U.S. Army Fort Polk – Reception Company Mission Statement

The U.S. Army Fort Polk – Reception Company serves as the first impression of U.S. Army units across the Joint Training Readiness Center & Fort Polk for incoming Soldiers and families. We execute world-class reception operations to welcome families and in-process Soldiers, ensuring they report to their gaining commands fully mission capable.

Note: Soldiers reporting to Joint Readiness Training Center must in-process through the HHC, USAG – Reception Company. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incoming/PCS Soldiers assigned to JRTC Operations Group, 3rd Light Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain, 32nd Hospital Center, Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, 46th Engineer Battalion, 1st Battalion 5th Aviation Regiment, SOTD. 
  • Soldiers transitioning from other services or components to active-duty Army assignments in JRTC & Fort Polk.
  • Soldiers with family relocations requiring assistance
