The Army Credentialing and Continuing Education Services for Soldiers (ACCESS), ArmyU, promotes lifelong learning, strengthens mission readiness, and builds resiliency through relevant education programs and services in support of the Warfighter and Total Army Family. Education Center Counselor’s can assist with college Education Goals, How to use Tuition and Credentialing Assistance via ArmyIgnitED platform, Installation In/Outprocessing, Veterans Education Benefits, (GI Bill/Post 9/11), Joint Service Transcript evaluation process, Financial Aid and Education benefits briefs.
EDUCATION TESTING CENTER
Army tests administered: Army Personnel Testing (APT) that include Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB), Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT), Pre-GT, Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE), and Selection Instrument for Flight Training (SIFT). Classes are offered various times throughout the year and require enrollment through Army Education Counselors.
FUNCTIONAL ACADEMIC SKILLS TRAINING (FAST)
The FAST class provides Soldiers with on-duty instruction in reading, math and language skills. The goal is to strengthen academic skills, improve job performance and increase reenlistment options. Classes are offered various times throughout the year and require enrollment through Army Education Counselors.
LEARNING CENTER AND CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
The Learning Center provides a computer lab and study materials. Study materials can be loaned out to customers for a two week period. The classroom coordinator can reserve classrooms and the computer lab for usage.
