Step One: Check Service Members eligibility.
Eligibility is the following:
· Service Members ETSing, once they are 18 months from separating.
· Service Members Retiring, once they are 24 months from their expected retirement date.
· Service Members undergoing a unprogrammed loss (MEB, or Chapter) they are required to start as soon as possible or once their MEB or Chapter process has been initiated.
Step Two: Service Members WITH an army.mil email can register online. Service Members WITHOUT an army.mil MUST go to the nearest TAP office to register and take the initial assessment.
Step Three: Service Members can stop by one of the Hawaii TAP locations or email armyhawaiitap@army.mil to schedule their Initial Counseling.
