Why This Closure Is Necessary
Army Sustainment Command (ASC) is modernizing Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) operations by transitioning all Army OCIE systems and processes from the Installation Support Module–Central Issue Facility (ISM CIF) to the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SEAM).
What This Means
- Absolutely no equipment issue, turn-in, or other transactions will be processed during the closure dates
- This closure is mandatory to facilitate a critical upgrade of inventory and information management systems
- The transition will improve long-term efficiency and service delivery
Reopening Information
The CIF will resume normal operations at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. All standard services will be available.
Important Note for Soldiers
Soldiers must coordinate with their unit supply to complete clearing requirements. Plan ahead and ensure all CIF transactions are completed before February 6, 2026, or schedule them for after February 17, 2026.
