Military Schools

Placement

Fort Campbell Soldiers have priority for school code 425. Other installations, to include National Guard and Reserve Soldiers, requesting school seats must contact Fort Campbell Troop Schools Point of Contact listed in the ATTRS C3 screen for that course for availability/enrollment.

Please do not send Soldiers that do not have a reservation in ATTRS for Fort Campbell Troop School courses listed in school code 425.

Attendance

Enrollment in any training course conducted on Fort Campbell constitutes mandatory attendance for all hours of instruction to obtain credit and training certificate.

Commanders WILL NOT schedule personnel designated to attend Fort Campbell training courses for any duty or appointments (SDO, CQ, Guard, Medical, Finance, EDRE, unit recall, etc.) on the night before the class or for the duration of the class. UNITS WILL NOT PULL students out of class for detail or local task. On-Post schools are just like going TDY. That is their duty station for the duration of the course.

Hours of Operation

Classroom hours are normally Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Times may vary on some days due to the Program of Instruction (POI). Classroom attendance normally commences at 9"30 a.m. on the first day of training. Classroom location varies amongst the various courses offered, and students should ask their Schools NCO or Training Manger to check the ATRRS C3 screen for the comments on locations or the POC to contact for directions to the class location.

Uniform/Dress Code

For military students the duty uniform for all classes is ACUs. Additional safety gear will be required for some courses. The wear of ACUs is authorized in all on-post facilities. It is recommended you bring appropriate seasonal civilian attire for off-duty hours if attending in TDY status. For civilian students the dress code is casual attire for all classes, except when the training environment will require more durable work clothes with personal safety equipment. Should there be a question about the dress code for a course check with the POC for that course for clarification.

Transportation

The nearest airport for TDY students coming to Fort Campbell is Nashville International Airport. It is recommend to have a rental car or personally owned vehicle due to lack of dedicated shuttle bus or on post taxi service between lodging and class locations. Visit the Nashville International Airport website for ground transportation options.

Meals

Dining facilities are available (but not dedicated to our school courses) in addition to food concessions and multiple off post establishments. Visit the dining and lodging page for information on the various options available.
