Weapons Registration
Privately owned weapons and ammunition must be controlled. The Senior Commander has clear authority and responsibility to regulate privately owned weapons, explosives, and ammunition on Fort Campbell. Personnel who remove privately owned weapons from Fort Campbell will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws pertaining to ownership, possession, and registration. The Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) is responsible for ensuring weapons are registered in accordance with applicable regulations.
All personnel (including but not limited to active duty, retired, National Guard, and reserve military and their Family members; Department of Defense employees and their family members; and civilians who are not affiliated with Fort Campbell) who desire to maintain, frequently use, or transport a privately owned weapon on this installation will register the weapon(s) with DES.
Registration of the weapon does not replace or relieve individuals of their responsibility to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding possession, purchase, sale, transfer, and transport of weapons.
All firearms brought onto the installation will be registered with the DES, Visitor Control Center (VCC) in accordance with Army Regulation 190-11, Physical Security of Arms, Ammunitions, and Explosives ⚠, and Fort Campbell Regulation 190-1, Fort Campbell Physical Security Program. Weapons to be registered are NOT TO be brought to the T.C. Freeman or Gate 7 Visitor Control Centers). Only the form bill of sale or other documentation indicating the make, model, and serial number is necessary.
Fill out Fort Campbell Form 2635 (Right Click and Save As) to register your weapon(s).
All Soldiers are required to have their unit commander complete and sign the unit commander's portion of this form.
Officers in paygrade O-3 and above, Warrant Officers CW3 and above, Enlisted personnel in paygrade E-8 and above, retired military personnel, and civilian personnel may self-approve this form by signing block 11, of page one. Authorized dependents will require sponsor's signature and commander approval.

be completed by:
Automated - digitally sign and e-mail completed form to: usarmy.campbell.imcom-atlantic.mbx.des-access-control@army.mil.
Once completed, owner will receive registration via return e-mail. E-mail must
be encrypted when sent.
Non DOD ID cardholders requesting weapons permit to obtain a
hunting permit will follow the below guidance per Fort
Campbell Regulation 200-4, Installation Hunting, Fishing, and Outdoor
Recreation:
All firearms brought onto the installation will be registered with the DES, VCC
in accordance with AR 190-11 and CAM Reg. 190-1. (Note: Firearms will not be
transported inside the VCC building.) Civilians must print and bring the
applications form, FC Form 2635, to the VCC for processing. In accordance with
AR 190-11 Chapter 4-5 and Army
Regulation 190-13, The Army Physical Security Program, Chapter 8 ⚠,
non-Department of Defense ID card holders will be required to obtain a one day
pass for a hunting permit only and favorably pass a criminal background check
annually. A visitor pass and weapons permit will be required to obtain a
hunters permit.
Required documents include: proof of weapons permit issued by Fort Campbell Directorate of Emergency Services, Visitor Control Center and proof of a visitors pass for hunting permit only to validate a favorable criminal background check issued by Fort Campbell Directorate of Emergency Services, Visitor Control Center in accordance with AR 190-13, Chapter 8.

Weapons Transportation
All firearms must be declared upon entry onto Fort Campbell and Weapons Registration Permit verified when entering the access control point (gate). If you are declaring a firearm at the point of entry, all personnel will pull directly to the guard booth for processing. All firearms must be unloaded and properly stored. Privately owned firearms carried in a vehicle will be secured in the trunk. For vehicles without a trunk, firearms will be encased in a container. Carrying concealed personal firearms on Fort Campbell is strictly prohibited. State concealed weapons permits are not recognized or honored on the installation.
