Outdoor Sirens Test

Today, July 5, at noon, the Emergency Operations Center will test Fort Campbell’s Outdoor Sirens, also known as the Giant Voice. the sirens may sound multiple times. New Soldier Experience Town Hall

An inspection team assigned to DAIG, will be at Fort Campbell as part of the New Soldier Experience inspection. During the visit the team will host a town hall to gather feedback from first-term Soldiers, E1-E4, and their Families 6 p.m. June 28 at Wilson Theater, 93 Screaming Eagle Blvd. All feedback is confidential. Deployment Readiness Fair

Fort Campbell ACS will host Deployment Readiness Fairs on June 15 & 16, from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., at ACS Bldg, 1501 William C. Lee Road. Briefings will be held at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Fort Campbell Army Community Service provides Soldiers and Family well-being and readiness preparedness through the use of briefings and other means of distribution to ensure the most current information pertaining to services, benefits and entitlements. Fort Campbell ACS will host a Deployment Readiness Fair June 15 and 16 from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. at 1501 William C. Lee Road. Briefings will be held at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Fort Campbell Army Community Service provides Soldiers and Family well-being and readiness preparedness through the use of briefings and other means of distribution to ensure the most current information pertaining to services, benefits and entitlements. Park only in designated parking areas near the building, do not park in grassy areas (including the golf course). If parking near the building is filled, use the parking across the street near Dolan Pool.

Armed Services Blood Program aims to collect 101 units per day at Lozada PFC drive

The Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) often calls on donors in the Fort Campbell community to help save Soldiers’ lives downrange, and their next blood drive aims to impact at least 600 patients. Soldiers, Families and civilians are invited to donate blood to the ASBP 8 a.m.-3 p.m. June 14-16 at Lozada Physical Fitness Center, 6992 Desert Storm Ave. Command Sgt. Maj. Veronica Knapp, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) senior enlisted adviser, has challenged the division’s battalions to contribute 101 units each day. Fort Campbell Fire and Emergency Services are responding to Fire

**Update as of 5:30 p.m. - No injuries were reported, power has been restored, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Roads in the area of 1st Street between Tennessee and Wickham avenues remain closed at this time.** **Update as of 10:45 a.m. - Several buildings in the area are experiencing a power outage; to include residents in Werner Park. Directorate of Public Works is addressing the outage and an estimated time to restore power is unknown at this time.** **Update as of 10:25 a.m. - Fort Campbell Fire and Emergency Services responded to a warehouse fire in the area of 1st Street between Tennessee and Wickham avenues; that section of road remains closed. The fire is under control. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.** Fort Campbell Fire and Emergency Services are responding to a fire at the Directorate of Public Works Yard in the area of 1st Street and Kentucky Avenue. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and individuals in the vicinity should take precautions to minimize exposure to smoke.
