Do not make reservations until you have Permanent Change of Station or Temporary Duty orders!
Make temporary lodging arrangements as far ahead of your arrival as possible -- there is NO Lodging Facility on your assigned installation. Ensure you keep your sponsor involved in the process, so they know you have a lodging reservation. We suggest that you make reservations at a hotel nearest the installation as possible. Please take into consideration your family size and pets if you have them. This will change the options you have available, please contact your sponsor if you have special requests.
MK Airbase (Romania) Suggested Booking Areas:
- Mihail Kogalniceanu 5-minute drive from the installation
- Constanta - 20-minute drive from the installation
- Novadari - 20-minute drive from the installation
- Mamaia - 25-minute drive from the installation
NSTA (Bulgaria) Suggested Booking Areas:
- Sliven - 35-minute drive from the installation
- Yambol - 35-minute drive from the installation
- Burgas - 60-minute drive from the installation
If traveling with a pet, please note that there are a limited number of pet-friendly hotels. In the event there are no pet friendly hotels available, pet owners should request local recommendations from their sponsor i.e. local kennels/boarding on the economy (at owners' expense). Veterinary Treatment Facilities are only available on the local economy.
