APG ensures service members assigned to the installation, their family members and deployed civilian employees understand their voting rights, how to register, how to vote absentee ballot and have access to accurate, nonpartisan voting information and assistance.

If you are a service member or civilian currently living in your home of record and registered to vote in your home-voting-jurisdiction, you can cast your ballots by visiting your voting precinct on Election Day. Click the Vote From Anywhere link to find information about your state.

Vote From Anywhere

The Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) informs and educates Soldiers and their eligible dependents on their right to vote and have tool and resources to successfully do so - from anywhere in the world. The primary goal of the FVAP is to actively assist Soldiers, and other eligible individuals, with registering to vote without violating statute or regulation. FVAP also ensures that eligible personnel have the opportunity to vote and it be received on time.

Visit FVAP.gov to find general voting information, instructions for voter registration, information regarding election dates, required forms for absentee ballots, as well as a multitude of helpful links and other resources.
