Command Sergeant Major Paul J. Denson is a native of Statesboro, Georgia. He enlisted in the United States Army in March 1999 and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Advanced Individual Training, 92G (Culinary Specialist), at Fort Lee, Virginia.
CSM Denson’s assignments include Service Battery, 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, Baumholder, Germany; Headquarters 29th Support Group, Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Germany; Papa and Delta Companies, 266th Quartermaster Battalion, Fort Lee, Virginia; 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas; 1st Air Calvary Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; and Headquarters 501st Sustainment Brigade, Camp Carroll, Republic of Korea. He was then assigned to Headquarters Joint Readiness Training Center and Headquarters United States Army Garrison, Fort Polk, Louisiana; Headquarters 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Fort Hood, Texas; Headquarters 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia and 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Camp Zama, Japan. He has deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Joint Guardian (Kosovo) and Poland.
