Scope: CBRN Mass Casualty Decontamination Course training will focus on providing the skills and knowledge's required to prepare for and respond to a Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) incident, as part of the state/federal emergency management response system. This course is specifically designed to provide selected personnel with training in CBRN Decontamination Operations techniques and procedures. Hands on training are used extensively to ensure Soldiers master the requisite skills. Students receive Hazardous Materials Operations and Mass Decontamination level of training. Students who successfully complete the Hazardous Materials courses through this school will receive DOD certification as accredited by International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) for each specific course.
