At 3 p.m. some gates will close in Crestview. At 4 p.m. all gates will be closed, and traffic will be resident-only traffic only in Aukamm and Crestview. Gates in Aukamm and Crestview will be closed to ALL TRAFFIC from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. -The Garrison has requested an early release for all units, no later than 4 p.m., to reduce housing traffic and allow for set up. Additionally, #DoDEA has canceled all after-school activities to support this effort. -Members from the surrounding Wiesbaden communities (non-ID Cardholders) are welcome to trick or treat in the Aukamm and Crestview military community housing areas. -There will be no latrines in the housing areas this year, as the Garrison was not authorized to fund them due to the current lapse in appropriations. -Trick-or-Treating is NOT authorized inside the stairwell housing units. Often many of the stairwell residents will set up tables or holiday haunted displays to give out tricks or treats in front of their buildings, which is ok to do. However, going into buildings is NOT allowed. Trick-or-Treating is NOT authorized in tenant unit barracks or any of our life support areas. -ON-SITE SAFETY PATROLS -- German Polizei will join the U.S. Military Police to conduct joint patrols in Aukamm and Crestview. -Missing Child "CODE ADAM" Points will be established in each housing area (please review the graphics below to see the locations) - If a child gets separated from their parent or guardian - what happens next: • If a child doesn’t know their address or surroundings, a mobile patrol will be dispatched to the child’s location. • The patrol will escort the child in the patrol vehicle to the designated rally point. • The child will remain there under the supervision of the patrol until their parent or guardian arrives. • During the process, the MP Desk will attempt to locate/contact the child’s sponsor via telephone.
