National Guard, Reserve and Non-Tenant Units can complete the certification the following ways:
Course of Action 1:

- Once approved, access OIC/RSO resources: Library (TAB) > OIC-RSO BRIEF (in the folder you will find the following items):
- OIC-RSO Certification Brief
- OIC-RSO Memo Template
- OIC-RSO Training Certificate
- To Complete Online Certification Process, follow instruction on Slide # 51
Course Action 2:
- If COA 1 fails, email the following address and request the OIC/RSO Certification Brief and we will provide you the materials:
OIC/RSO Range Certification Course (3ID and Tenant Units)
- OIC/RSO Certification training is held at BLDG 7905. (Class capacity 40 PAX)
- Classes are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays during the first and third weeks of each month.
- Upcoming class dates: 23 July; 4 Aug, 6 Aug, 18 Aug and 20 Aug.
- Doors open at 0900, sign-in until 0945, class starts 1000.
- Soldiers must bring CAC card and signed Battalion or Squadron Commander’s memo stating their soldiers are qualified to perform duties as an OIC/RSO.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
All OICs will have an on-site briefing prior to assuming duties.
Live Fire Facilities = Briefings will be conducted at the range or facility the day of occupation.
FSGA Training Areas and Non-Live Fire PAAs = Briefings will be conducted at BLDG 8302, between 0730-1600 Monday - Friday. Outside of normal business hours, go to the rear of BLDG 8302.
HAAF Training Areas = Bldg. 8009, 0730-1600, Monday-Friday, Phone: 571- 801-8791/8792 or 912-259-2327
On-site briefings maybe coordinated up to 10 days in advance.
Range Control personnel will verify the following: Signed DRAW, CASEVAC plan, CASEVAC rehearsal and CASEVAC capable vehicle.
