Command Sgt. Maj. Raymond Wrensch
Command Sergeant Major Raymond Wrensch enlisted into the U.S. Army from Danville, Illinois, in August 2003 as an Infantryman.
He attended One Station Unit Training, Airborne School, and the Ranger Indoctrination Program at Fort Benning, Georgia.
His assignments include 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia; Human Resources Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky; First Sergeant in 1st Battalion, 3rd US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), Fort Myer, Virginia; United States Sergeant Major Academy (CL70), Fort Bliss, Texas; Asymmetric Warfare Group, Fort Meade, Maryland and Command Sergeant Major of 2-503rd Battalion, 173rd IBCT (A), Vicenza, Italy. He has deployed on four occasions to Iraq and five occasions to Afghanistan.
CSM Wrensch’s military education includes Airborne School, Ranger Indoctrination Program, Ranger School, Pathfinder School, Warrior Leader Course, Jump Master School, Advance Leader Course, Master Breacher Course, Maneuver Senior Leader Course, Ranger Assessment and Selection 2, Heavy Weapons Leader Course, Military District of Washington 1SG/Commander Course, Sergeant’s Major Course, and Battalion and Brigade Pre-Command Courses. His civilian education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University and Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies from University of Texas El Paso.

He is joined in Germany by his wife and their three children.
