Fingerprinting Services

Fingerprinting services locations:

Rhine Ordnance Barracks (ROB), BLDG 162, Room 229:
Monday-Thursday
- 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The last appointment will be 11:30 a.m. 
- 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.  The last appointment will be at 3:30 p.m. 
If you arrive to Room 229 and the door is locked, please call the numbers listed on the doors for access. 

Baumholder:
Thursdays
- 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.   The last appointment will be 11:30 a.m.

Customers must bring with them to the appointment:
1. Passport
2. Military ID, dependent ID or Stateside driver's license if they do not yet have an ID.
3. Social Security card,
4. Fingerprint request memo, if applicable, which is obtained from HR.
5. Don't moisturize your hands prior to the appointment until after your fingerprints have been taken,

Fingerprinting services are provided by appointment only in support of civilian, dependent, contractors, and military personnel assigned to USAG RP and IMCOM-E. However, personnel requesting fingerprints must first go through their unit's security managers. This includes civilian and dependents who need to go through their spouse's unit security manager.
NOTE: For teaching certificates requesters must go through DODEA and nursing certificate. Requesters must go through MEDCOM.

COVID: During COVID-19 defensive measures, everyone over the age of 6 years-old must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth at the same time in accordance with Host Nation and garrison COVID defensive measures.

Personnel security

Personnel security support includes initiating security clearance/background investigations and reinvestigations for garrison personnel.

Information security

Provide guidance on marking, wrapping, storing, transporting, transmitting and destroying classified information to garrison personnel and tenant organizations.

Industrial security

Ensure appropriate measures and procedures are implemented to gain access to, handle or generate classified information during the performance of a classified contract or program.

Foreign Travel Reporting

In accordance with AR 380-67, PERSONNEL SECURITY PROGRAM, all personnel possessing a Department of Defense security clearance must report foreign travel to the security office prior to travel being performed.

Upon completion of travel, personnel will report foreign contact when there is suspicion of attempts to attain information.

Before you depart

Complete the Foreign Travel Packet (in RESOURCES section below), then email Part 1 to the Security Office.

When you return

Complete, then email the debrief (Part 2) of the report to the Security Office.
