MISSION

The LRC provides Garrison logistical programs and services that enable activity and tenant readiness. These include: receiving, storing, issuing, and managing retail supplies; providing Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE); providing field (tactical) and selected national (sustainment) maintenance services; providing transportation management services; managing hazardous materials; and providing installation-level planning for mission, training, deployment, and mobilization support. 

LOGISTICS READINESS CENTER DIVISIONS

Plans & Operations Division - 652-4476

The Plans and Operations Division works closely with all Okinawa customers, both internal and external, to develop, plan, and communicate synchronized and integrated processes to properly identify, forecast and implement the support necessary for the successful execution of all Army missions. The division is responsible for Support Operations, Strategic Planning, the LRC Safety and Security Programs, budget and the management of the Master Labor Contractor (MLC) work force assigned.

Material Maintenance Division - 652-4907

The Materiel Maintenance Division (MMD) provides ground maintenance support to sustain the readiness of the Warfighter’s systems while supporting USAG-Okinawa authorized equipment. The MMD provides sustainment level maintenance for tactical vehicles and is responsible for Field Level Maintenance of all assigned Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTV). The division also manages a Furniture Repair Shop, Paint Shop and Cannibalization Point.

Supply & Services Division - 652-4921

The Supply and Services Division includes the, Installation Supply Support Activity, Consolidated Property Book Office, Central Issue Facility, Subsistence Supply Management Office, Hazardous Material Control Center, Ground Fuel, Central Receiving Point and other supply and service functions for the Okinawa U.S. Army units.

Installation Transportation Office - 652-4327

The Installation Transportation Office (ITO) of the LRC provides efficient, responsive, and quality transportation services Traffic Management and Unit Movement consists of the following work centers: Personal Property Shipping Office (PPSO), Personnel Movements (Port Call, Group Moves, Commercial Billing Accounts), Unit Moves, Traffic Management Center (TMC)-Official Travel, and the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) and ensures compliance with governing laws, directives, and regulations. Our customers include the U.S. Army, Family Members, Department of Defense (DOD) civilians, and DOD contractors.
