Mission Statement: Direct and coordinate installation garrison operations and training support activities while providing antiterrorism, training support, operational planning and emergency operations functions. DPTMS also coordinates limited training for Army tenant units, agencies, Host Nation, sister-services on Army owned recreational, fuel and sea-port outlying areas.

DPTMS DIVISIONS
The Plans and Operations Division is the nexus for synchronizing installation operations and emergency planning activities. We coordinate tenant and non-tenant requests for training on all Army property across Okinawa (including Tengan, Kuwae, Chimuwan, White Beach fuel tank Farms, Naha Military Port and Torii Station) and conduct installation Antiterrorism and Emergency Management exercises. We provide a Base Defense Operations Center during times of contingency and a garrison Emergency Operations Center in times of natural disaster.
We manage the Garrison‘s Personnel Security, Information Security, Industrial Security and Security Education. We accomplish this by providing support to Directorates and special staff offices with procedural guidance, advice, staff assistance visits and oversight of security matters. TRAINING DIVISION - DSN (315) 652-5902
DPTMS exercises staff supervision for mandatory IMCOM civilian training to include Torii Station Rappel Tower reservations. The Training Division provides our Department of Army Civilians (DAC), Master Labor Contract (MLC), Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and Indirect Hire Agreement (IHA) employees with training opportunities in meeting their mission requirements. Training areas include: Antiterrorism, Operations Security, Operations Excellence (OPEX) and internal annual training.
