The Military Personnel Division manages personnel information and provides human resources services for Active Duty, Active Guard/Reserve, Retirees and their Families in the National Capital Region. 

Member Readiness

The MPD is responsible for the overall reconciliation of the Soldier Readiness Program (SRP) and Personnel Strength across an installation to include accurate member duty status.

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT / EMILPO BRANCH

Our mission is to manage installation personnel, accounting, strength reporting and the eMILPO database for data accuracy and accepted timelines within the Department of the Army standards. Act as a liaison between Human Resources Command (HRC) and installation units to address ongoing eMILPO issues, and provide possible solutions or feedback to the installation with technical and functional support based on the Personnel Processing Activity (PPA) code. The Personnel Management Branch also supports in/out processing and managing permanent party personnel records.

DEERS & ID Card

The ID Cards section verifies enrollment in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and provides Common Access Cards (CAC) and/or official identification cards to Soldiers, Family members, Retirees, Department of the Army Civilian and Contract employees working on Fort Myer.

Installation Voting Officer

Provides information to U.S. citizens covered by the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA), which includes military members on active duty and their dependents. Provides information on state elections schedules and absentee ballot deadlines.

Military Pay Office

Reassignments and Permanent Change of Station (PCS)

MPD representatives will process PCSs, generate PCS orders, validate completion of member elections, process permanent and temporary assignments and view assignments in draft or pending approval status.

Retirement Services Office

The Retirement Services Office provides information on benefits and entitlements to active duty Soldiers and their Families preparing for retirement.

DEERS & ID Card

Soldiers and Families requiring ID Card services should visit https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/ to make an appointment at the closest serving location.  FT Myer ID Card office does accept walk ins however services are limitedAll CAC reissuance customers are required to have 2 original identity documents (from the "List of Acceptable Documents" on https://www.cac.mil/) in their record. Please bring these documents with you to the ID card site. If your documents are not in your record, your current CAC CANNOT be used as a required identity document.

Casualty Assistance Center (CAC) 

The Casualty Assistance Center manages training, casualty reporting, notification, assistance, funeral honors, and mortuary affairs within the National Capital Region on a 24 hours, 7 days a week operating schedule. Their goal is to execute all duties in a timely and compassionate manner providing support to the families of those who have served.

Mobilization/Demobilization

The MPD Mobilization Team assist in the mobilization and/or  (Temporary Change of Station (TCS)) of units and individual augmentees in IPPS-A.  Installation mobilization managers are responsible for tracking and, when applicable, executing arrival and departure transactions to and from the temporary assignments.
