Q: What HPCON level is NTC?
A: The NTC/Fort Irwin is at HPCON A.
 
Q: Can relatives friends visit from off post/other states?
A: Visitor access to Fort Irwin is subject to appropriate Garrison Regulations. 
 
Q: Are Special Unit Events and Official Functions Authorized?
A: Yes. Unit, neighborhood, religious, and social events are encouraged to promote community connection across Fort Irwin. 
 
Q: Will common areas like gyms, restaurants, movie theaters, bowling alleys, church, etc. be closed/canceled and, if so, for how long?
A: All facilities are open at full capacity for all authorized users. 
 
Q: Are the current and future RTU’s restricted to the RUFMA/RUBA?
A: No, As of 6 August, 2021, the rotational unit is authorized access to on-post facilities.  This includes guest OC/Ts, LTP personnel, and augmentees. 
 
Q: Does Weed Army Community Hospital have any COVID-19 test kits?
A: Yes, WACH does have COVID-19 test kits and has begun vaccinating our population IAW the DoD's COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan.  Vaccines are available to all beneficiaries 12 and up.  Appointments can be made     here:  https://go.usa.gov/xHgSE ​​​​.​​​
 
Q: Who has to wear face masks and where do they need to wear them?
A: As of 7 January, 2022 all persons receiving services or performing duties within MEDDAC, DENTAC, and CYS will continue to wear masks regardless of community transmission rates and vaccination status.
