Brenda Lee McCullough

Brenda Lee McCullough was selected to the Senior Executive Service in April 2015 and currently serves as the Director of Installation Management Command-Pacific (IMCOM-Pacific).  She manages a regional staff that provides oversight of 11 Garrisons located in Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, Korea, and Kwajalein Atoll that support a population of approximately 295,000; and provides oversight of an annual budget exceeding $1.8 billion as well as over $6 billion under the Army’s Facility Investment Plan. The IMCOM-Pacific area of responsibility includes 12,000 Army-owned and privatized family housing units and over 44,000 Unaccompanied Personnel Housing living spaces.

Previously, Ms. McCullough served as the Director of Installation Management Command-Readiness at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, and managed a team that provides support to a population of approximately 1.4 million, as well as oversight of an annual budget exceeding $2.9 billion for programs across several appropriations and non-appropriated funds.  She also provided oversight of 9.1 million acres of land and 347.4 million square feet of facilities with a replacement value of over $182 billion and annual contracts totaling in excess of $1.4 billion.

Prior to this assignment, Ms. McCullough was the Deputy Director for Transformation and Restationing, Headquarters, United States Forces Korea (USFK).  In this position she served as a consultant and advisor to USFK leadership, and other DOD agencies and military commands, Host Nation governmental agencies, and engineering and construction firms.  She exercised broad discretionary authority in the areas of construction program management, program planning and evaluation, resource planning and utilization, maintenance of external relationships, and technical advisory services. Before joining USFK, Ms. McCullough served in a broad range of senior leadership and management roles including Deputy Region Director Korea Forward, Army Combat Support & Combat Service Support Program Manager, Budget Examiner at the White House Office of Management and Budget, and other notable positions including Garrison Manager of U.S. Army Garrison Detroit Arsenal.

Ms. McCullough holds a Master of Science in National Security Strategy and Strategic Resourcing from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, a Master of Science in Management Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Management from American Military University.  She completed the Defense Senior Leader Development Program in 2013 and the Harvard Senior Executive Fellows Program in 2010.

Ms. McCullough’s numerous civilian honorary awards include the Bronze Order of DeFluery Medal, the Joint Meritorious Civilian Service Award, the Army Meritorious Civilian Service Award (two awards), the Army Superior Civilian Service Award, the Army Commander’s Award for Civilian Service (seven awards), and the Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service (three awards).
