Jon Y. Williams
A son of a career Army Soldier, Command Sergeant Major Jon Y. Williams was born in Seoul, Korea. He enlisted as an Administrative Specialist in September 1992; completing both Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, SC.
Command Sergeant Major Williams has served in a number of command and staff positions in the continental United States, Pacific, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit (1 OLC), Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (5 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4 OLC), Meritorious Unit Commendation, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Air Assault Badge, Career Counselor Badge and Drill Sergeant Badge.
CSM Williams’ achievements include being inducted to the 2021 Adjutant General Corps Distinguished Member of the Corps and a recipient of the Adjutant General Corps Horatio Gates Bronze Medal. He is also a member of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.
