Welcome to Kwajalein Atoll! U.S. Army Garrison Kwajalein Atoll (USAG-KA) is one of the most unique and dynamic communities within the United States Army. Our installation is comprised of Soldiers, government civilian employees, U.S. contract personnel, host nation personnel and their accompanying family members. These fine people come together to form a diverse element that is best described as "Team Kwaj."

WELCOME!

The two islands of Kwajalein and Roi-Namur are home to approximately 1,300 Americans, working for the U.S. Government as military service members, Department of Defense Civilians and Contractors.

A Changeover of Leadership on Kwajalein Atoll

June 4, 2025 - U.S. Army Garrison - Kwajalein Atoll - The morning of June 4th, 2025  began with USAG-KA Commander Col. Andrew Morgan and Command Spouse Mrs. Stacey Morgan along with Command Sergeant Major Ernest Miller and Mrs. Catrina Miller all receiving awards for their extensive contributions to both the Kwajalein community and also to the Marshall Islands as a whole. The award ceremony was followed by a special TEAM KWAJ Tab ceremony as Col. Morgan awarded the TEAM KWAJ Tab to incoming Command Team Col. Matthew Cannon and CSM Stanley Jackson.

The group made their way to the historic grounds of the Richardson Theater where dignitaries from around the RMI and Pacific realm gathered with the Kwajalein community, friends, and family for the main event, the U.S. Army Garrison – Kwajalein Atoll Change of Command and Change of Responsibility ceremony.

We bid a heartfelt and fond farewell to both Col. Morgan and family and CSM Miller and family as they all begin their next adventures.

We also give a big Kwajalein Atoll "Iakwe" and welcome to TEAM KWAJ to the incoming Command Team and Families to Col. Matthew and Kate Cannon and CSM Stanley Jackson.

TEAM KWAJ - ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT
