Career Skills Program has two different avenues a Service Member may pursue when choosing a CSP Program.
These are called an Individual Career Skills Program and a Partner Career Skills Program.

Individual Career Skills Programs

Service Members that choose to do an Individual Career Skills Program must reach out to employers, who are NOT vetted by the army as a partner, to see if they are willing to take them on as an intern.

Service Members can search for individual programs by the following:

  • Looking in the Service Members area of preference for companies. · Using DoD Skillbridge webpage to research companies.
  • Talking to family who own businesses.
Service Members CANNOT attend a Career Skills Program if they own any percentage of a company.

Partner Career Skills Program

Service Members that choose to do a Partner Career Skills Program must reach out to employers, who ARE vetted by the army as a partner, to see if they are willing to take them on as an intern.

Service Members can search for partner programs by the following:

Service Members CANNOT attend a CSP program OCONUS unless they are already stationed in that OCONUS region.
