Members of A Co. 2nd Battalion 19th Special Forces and 56th Quartermaster Co. (Rigging Support), both of the Rhode Island National Guard, jumped onto Turner Drop Zone from a CH-47 Chinook helicopter Apr. 4.
A Co. 3-126 Aviation Regiment, Massachusetts Army National Guard, conduct aerial gunnery in a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter Mar. 3.

Units can schedule air operations, including air drops, airborne training and aerial gunnery, at Devens RFTA via https://rfmss.altess.army.mil.
CH-47 Chinook from B Co., 2nd Battalion, 104th Aviation Regiment, Connecticut Army National Guard, flew Special Forces for HALO jumps in October.
A Co. 1st. Battalion 126th Aviation Regiment, Rhode Island Army National Guard, conducts aerial gunnery with UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters in October.

Premier Military Training Facility in New England and serving the northeast
As the major Army Reserve presence in New England, Devens Reserve Forces Training Area (RFTA) provides operational, training and logistic resources to tenant, transient training and stationed units and area customers; provides standardized, effective and efficient services, facilities, infrastructure and quality of life to Soldiers, family members, retirees and civilian employees as applicable to support the training, readiness and operational capability for all components and branches of the joint force, accomplished through responsible execution of funds and effective conservation of natural resources. On order, provides Defense Support to Civil Authorities, as directed.
