Welcome to TEAM APG

On behalf of the Soldiers, Civilians, and Family Members of the U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving (APG), We welcome you to Team APG! Your assignment will be professionally challenging yet rewarding.

Nestled in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States, USAG APG is home to 21,000 military, civilian, and contractor employees. It is one of the largest employers in the state of Maryland. USAG APG is home to 92 mission partners, including the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), 20th CBRNE Command, and Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC).

Since 1917, USAG APG has been" proving it every day." USAG APG has provided the U.S. Army with numerous technical achievements in military intelligence, medical research, engineering, and computer technology. "If a soldier uses technology to shoot mover or communicate, chances are it was developed, tested, and fielded by one of the more than 92 tenant organizations that call APG home."

As a subordinate headquarters under Installation Management Command (IMCOM), USAG APG is fully nested with our Army's senior leaders' priorities, foremost of which are People, Readiness, and Modernization. The priorities translate into four core competencies: (1) Provide Soldier/ Family Services, (2) Manage the regular Army's Infrastructure, (3) Support Warfighter Readiness and Deployability, and (4) Provide and Integrate Base Operations Services.

Supporting our competencies and mission is our service culture, which is our People First Philosophy designed to inform and influence every interaction we have as professionals positively. As a service provider, our organization is committed to providing programs and services with a sense of individual pride and professionalism in keeping with the spirit of the Army Values and the IMCOM principles.

As you plan to arrive at USAG APG, please visit, https://home.army.mil/apg/my-fort/all-services for information about USAG and the fantastic services we provide our community.

Again, on behalf of the entire Team APG, welcome.

"We are the Army Home"
