RECYCLING IN THE ANSBACH MILITARY COMMUNITY
Host Nation law requires that all residents of Germany properly dispose of their refuse by recycling as much as possible. U.S. Forces must also abide by this law. The Refuse Collection and Recycling Standard Operating Procedure applies to all units, agencies, activities, tenants, contractors and all civilian employees stationed and working in the U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach area of responsibility.
Recycling is one of the best (and cheapest) ways for you to have a positive impact on your community. Recycling is important to both the environment and ourselves. Recycling helps reduce the pollution caused by waste. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials so forests and natural resources can be preserved. Recycling reduces the cost of trash disposal and the money saved is reallocated for area beautification and improvement projects.
