Lt. Col. Steven Robinette
Lt. Col. Steven Robinette is a native of Kansas City, Missouri, and a graduate from Missouri Western State University.
Inducted into the Ordnance Corps in 2005, Robinette attended the Ordnance Officer Basic Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. His initial assignment was a platoon leader in the Forward Support Company 1-10th Field Artillery, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Benning, Georgia (known as Fort Moore since 2023) .
His subsequent assignments range across multiple organizations in his 17-year career to include the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Infantry Divisions, Combined Arms Support Command, U.S. European Command, and the Army Sustainment Command. He served in various positions to include maintenance and distribution platoon leader, company commander, battalion operations and logistics officer, instructor, aide-de-camp, brigade S4, support operations officer, and J4 Russia Problem Set plans officer. His previous assignment was in Army Sustainment Command where he served as executive officer for the Army’s lead materiel integrator directorate.
Robinette personal decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Valorous Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal Campaign Star, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, and the Korea Defense Service Medal.
