Command Sgt. Maj. Darron Wilson

Command Sgt. Maj. Darron O. Wilson is a native of Florida.  Upon graduating from high school in Orlando Florida, he joined the US Army on July 28, 1992.  He attended Basic Training, with Charlie Company, 4th Battalion, 13th Infantry Regiment, Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri as a Motor Transportation Operator (88M).
 
Wilson has served in various leadership positions. Positions he has held include Team Leader, Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Military Transition Team (MiTT) Advisor, First Sergeant and Sergeant Major. He also served in instructor positions training Noncommissioned Officers and Soldiers.His civilian and military education consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Trinity University. He is a graduate of the Basic Leaders Course, Advance Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, and the First Sergeant Course. In the summer of 2016, he attended the United States Army Sergeant’s Major Academy Class# 67.

Wilson's assignments and positions include: Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri with the 58th Transportation Battalion he served as a Instructor/Writer from June 2005 to December 2007; Fort Riley, Kansas with the 1st Infantry Division he served as the 45th Brigade 11th Division Military Transition Team (MiTT) NCOIC from February 2008 to June 2009; Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri with 58th Transportation Battalion he served as a Branch Chief for the HEMTT/Tanker section; instructing Advanced Individual Training (AIT) Trainees, Military Occupational Specialty, 92F Petroleum Specialist from August 2009 to March 2010; while assigned to 58th Transportation Battalion, he served as the Company Delta First Sergeant from April 2010 to August 2011; Fort Shafter, Hawaii with Intelligence & Sustainment Company where he served as Transportation Supervisor from September 2011 to July 2012; while assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion USARPAC, he served as Operations Company First Sergeant from July 2012 to May 2015; Headquarters Support Company First Sergeant from June 2015 to March 2016; U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas from August 2016 to June 2017; and upon completion he was reassigned to the 832nd Transportation Battalion, Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Fort Eustis, Virginia from July 2017 to February 2019.
