The TASP aim is to help Soldiers better integrate into the Army, assist them as they transition to different units, and ensures they are assigned sponsors prior to reporting to their next duty station. Obtaining a sponsor reduces the stress of reporting to a new unit, enhancing resiliency and improving readiness among Soldiers and Family members, and ensuring successful reception and integration into units and communities. Each Unit, Battalion, or Brigade has a Sponsorship Coordinator to assist out-going and in-coming in their transition to their nest assignment.
Assist Soldiers, their Families, and DA Civilians with simple, timely, effective, and positive transitions, promoting long-term satisfaction and association with the Army through Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW) and Career Readiness Standards (CRS) compliance.
