MORE INFORMATION
Our mission is to ensure enrollment in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS), and provide Common Access Cards (CAC) and/or Official Identification Cards to Soldiers, Family members, Retirees as well as Civilian and Contract Employees working on Fort Leonard Wood.
Duty uniform is required when in-processing and picking up clearing papers. Soldiers will report to room 2105 in building 470 at 0745 to begin in-processing. Soldiers must have a copy of their PCS orders and Leave Form (IPPS-A absence request) when in-processing. Soldiers can expect to receive a brief, receive a welcome packet, update DD 93s, SGLIs, and conduct a records review on the first day of in-processing. Soldiers reporting after business hours please report to the IOC located in Hodge Hall in the MSCOE building, then report to building 470 on the next duty day to begin in-processing. Out processing is conducted by appointment. Appointments for Post Clearing Papers are made by unit S1s. S1s are to email Soldiers orders and absence request to usarmy.leonardwood.id-training.mbx.usag-flw-dhr-mpd-actions@army.mil to request a clearing appointment. Soldiers will have 10 business days to conduct out processing. Appointments can be scheduled as soon as Soldiers receive their orders and request leave. When picking up clearing papers Soldiers will need to be in uniform. If you have any questions about in or out processing, please contact 573-596-0136 or 573-596-2201.
Effective immediately, in-person reassignment briefings are discontinued. Soldiers will no longer attend scheduled group briefs. Instead, all reassignment processing will be completed through the IMCOM Form 78 (Reassignment Checklist).
The TASP aim is to help Soldiers better integrate into the Army, assist them as they transition to different units, and ensures they are assigned sponsors prior to reporting to their next duty station. Obtaining a sponsor reduces the stress of reporting to a new unit, enhancing resiliency and improving readiness among Soldiers and Family members, and ensuring successful reception and integration into units and communities. Each Unit, Battalion, or Brigade has a Sponsorship Coordinator to assist out-going and in-coming in their transition to their nest assignment.
Assist Soldiers, their Families, and DA Civilians with simple, timely, effective, and positive transitions, promoting long-term satisfaction and association with the Army through Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW) and Career Readiness Standards (CRS) compliance.
