Col. Anthony “Tony” J. Bianchi
Colonel Anthony J. Bianchi is from Tampa, Florida and was commissioned in the Field Artillery from the United States Military Academy, West Point in 1997 where he majored in Systems Engineering and played Army Football. Colonel Bianchi’s professional military education includes the Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Combined Arms and Services Staff School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, the Command and General Staff College and the National War College at the National Defense University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point; a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia; Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College, National Defense University, Fort McNair, Washington, D.C.
His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (1 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (5 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), Air Assault badge, Airborne badge and the Army Staff Identification badge.
Colonel Bianchi is married to Julie Perez from Tampa, Florida. They have three daughters, Alexia, 21, Alyssa, 18, and Alaina, 8.
