Counsels families on the home purchase process, providing funding and technical assistance for home improvement and loans, and grants to help people get into affordable housing.

Provides affordable HUD housing for Alaska Native and American Indians in the Tanana Chiefs Conference region. Programs include rental assistance, home rehabilitation and mortgage assistance.

Provides weatherization work such as thermal doors, windows, insulation, air sealing and heating system repair of homes. The program covers homes, apartments and trailers for both owners and renters.

EMERGENCY HOUSING

Offers both a men’s and women’s center providing a bed and three meals a day. They also offer counseling, clothing and long-term recovery programs for men and women. There are no fees for these services.

The Fairbanks Native Association Community Services provides human and social services to individuals in need. Services include assistance with housing and shelter, weekly food boxes, assistance with financial services for venerable adults, referrals for clothing and household items, outreach and advocacy, and adult protective services.
