The Red Cross provides temporary relief for disaster victims of natural or other disasters. They can provide clothing, food and temporary shelter services. They provide training on water safety, First Aid, CPR and babysitting classes. American Red Cross also provides Reconnection Workshops held in small groups and facilitated by licensed, trained Red Cross mental health workers to help service members reconnect with their families.
