Our Mission
The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) provides guidance and leadership on non-clinical alcohol and other drug policy issues; develops, establishes, administers, and evaluates alcohol and other drug abuse prevention, education, treatment and testing programs; oversees the military, Drug Free Federal Workplace and drug testing programs.

ASAP provides Soldiers, commanders, Unit Deterrence Leaders (UDL) and all other members of the Army community with an informative, user-friendly environment - here on the Web or in our offices. Those utilizing the site have access to a multitude of information on biochemical testing programs, risk reduction program, suicide prevention program, Employee Assistance Program, alcohol and drug abuse prevention training materials, and general information about our agency.

Drug and Alcohol treatment information is available at Behavioral Health for Soldiers. For Family members and Army Civilians referral to Drug and Alcohol treatment facilities is available through the Employee Assistance Program.
