Chaplains & Counseling

Every unit has an embedded or assigned Chaplain for coverage. Call the Religious Support Office for help connecting with your chaplain.

The guiding regulation for the Army Chaplain Core is AR 165-1. The Unit Ministry Team (UMT) is composed of a Chaplain and a Religious Affairs Specialist/NCO for each unit. The UMT’s primary responsibility is to provide for the free exercise of religion for all Soldiers, Department of the Army (DA), and authorized Families. Chaplains provide professional and confidential counseling (spiritual, marriage, Family, crisis, etc.) for all Soldiers, DA Civilians, and Family members. The counseling provided holds 100% confidentiality for the individual or Family receiving counseling services.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Spiritually Leading Within The Army

Our garrison has an active and diverse Ministry Team under the oversight of the Senior Chaplain of the Installation.

The Ministry Team is organized to provide the most responsive religious support and Chaplain presence at the unit level across the full spectrum of Army operations. The ministry team consists of: U.S. Army Chaplains and Chaplain Assistants; civilian employees and contractors; and a vast array of carefully screened and selected chapel volunteers. Together, they provide a comprehensive and resilient spiritual support system for Soldiers, Families, and many others who choose a chapel as their place of worship.

The Religious Support Office is located in the Main Post Chapel. For more information about services, contact....
