Mission:

As the Military Criminal Investigative Organization and Protection Providing Organization, our mission is to identify, disrupt, and defeat criminal threats to Army personnel, property, and resources. Through vigorous prevention, investigation, and education efforts, Army CID safeguards sensitive programs, weapons systems, and acquisition processes, enhancing Army readiness, lethality, and technical superiority to fight and win the nation’s wars across all domains throughout the spectrum of conflict.
