Trick-or-Treating hours

As Halloween approaches, the Presidio of Monterey Police Department wishes everyone a safe, fun, and festive holiday. To ensure the safety of our children, families, and residents, official trick-or-treating hours have been established for all military housing communities, including the Presidio of Monterey, the Ord Military Community and La Mesa Village.

Official trick-or-treating within all Presidio of Monterey housing areas will take place on Saturday, October 31, from 1800 hrs to 2000 hrs (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM).

Residents wishing to welcome trick-or-treaters are encouraged to keep their exterior porch lights on during these hours. If you prefer not to participate, please keep your porch light off to signal visitors.
