MISSION

To support and assist all DLIFLC & POM Commanders in improving the state of their command in every area, as well as ensuring that every customer requesting IG support receives due process in the handling of their issue or problem.

Specifically, the IG:

  • Strives for complete resolution of the issue or problem
  • Acts impartially in support of both the customer and the Command
  • Focuses on facts and uses documentation to substantiate findings and recommendations
  • Specializes in providing assistance (e.g., regulatory research and interpretation), conducting inspections, performing investigations and inquiries, and teaching and training
  • Provides support to anyone (military, civilian, family members, DoD employees, retirees, etc.) who requests it.
