Command Sgt. Maj. Robert N. Londers

CSM Robert N. Londers serves as the Command Sergeant Major, United States Army Garrison Presidio of Monterey.

Born in Clearwater, Florida, he grew up in Cumberland, Rhode Island and enlisted in the Army in July 1996 as a 31C, single channel radio operator-maintainer.

He attended basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and advanced individual training at Fort Gordon, Georgia.  CSM Londers has served as a Radio Operator, Battalion Telephone Control NCO, Special Security Office Communications NCO, Battalion Communications and Electronics NCO, SATCOM Maintenance NCO, SATCOM Terminal Chief, Special Operations Communications Chief, Assistant Commanding General Communications Team NCOIC, Commanding General Communications Team NCOIC, Special Operations Detachment Sergeant, Brigade S-3 Sergeant Major, J6 Senior Enlisted Leader, and Battalion Command Sergeant Major.

His stateside assignments include the 100th Engineer Company (Topographic) (Airborne), 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), Joint Communications Unit, and Joint Special Operations Command, all at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. His overseas assignments include the 181st Signal Company, Landstuhl, Germany, 1st Battalion, 15th Field Artillery, Camp Casey, Korea, 160th Signal Brigade, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, and 102d Signal Battalion, Wiesbaden, Germany. 

CSM Londers’ military education includes the single channel radio operator-maintainer (31C) course, management information system course, standardized communications security course, Basic Leader course, satellite communications systems operator-maintainer course (25S), Advanced Leader Course, AN/FSC-78 satellite communications terminal modernization operations and maintenance course, Battle Staff NCO course, Senior Leader course, Special Operations Radio Operator course, Protective Security Detail Course, SERE 215 (Specialized Survival for Special Mission Units), Airborne course, SERE 245 (Joint Service member training program), Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course, Master Resilience Trainer course, Resident, Sergeants Major Course (Class 65), Battalion Command Sergeant Major Development Program, Battalion Pre-Command Course, Army Space Cadre Phase I and II, Brigade Command Sergeant Major Development Program, and Brigade Pre-Command Course.

His civilian education includes a Bachelor’s of Science with honors in information technology management, from American Military University and a Master’s of Science (summa cum laude) in information technology management with a concentration in information security, information assurance, and digital forensics, from Trident University International.

He is married to Jasmyn, they have a son, Robert Jr. His daughter, Kaitlyn attends the University of Rhode Island.
