Command Sgt. Maj. Patrick Marshall
Command Sgt. Maj. Patrick W. Marshall joined the United States Army in May of 2000. He attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina before proceeding to Fort Huachuca, Arizona for Advanced Individual Training and earned the MOS 35F, All Source Intelligence Analyst. Command Sgt. Maj. Marshall assumed the role of senior enlisted leader for U.S. Army Garrison Presidio of Monterey 17 June, 2026.
Command Sgt. Maj. Marshall’s assignments include Fort Gordon, Georgia, 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion; Schofiled Barracks, Hawaii, 125th Military Intelligence Battalion, 1/27th Infantry Regiment, and 25th Infantry Division HQs; Fort Bragg, North Carolina 1st BDE 82nd Airborne Division, and 98th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne); Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, Special Operations Command-Pacific; Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne); Fort Bragg, NC, 525th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade; Fort Huachuca, Arizona, 304th Military Intelligence Battalion, and Office of the Chief, Military Intelligence. CSM Marshall has six combat deployments and three operational deployments.
Command Sgt. Maj. Marshall’s military education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course (Phase I & II), Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Battle Staff Noncommissioned Officer Course, and the Sergeants Major Course.
Command Sgt. Maj. Marshall’s civilian education includes an Associate of Applied Science in Intelligence Operations, an Undergraduate Certificate in Leadership and Work Force Development, a Bachelor of Science in Administration, and a Master of Science in Management.
Command Sgt. Maj. Marshall’s awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4th Award), Army Commendation Medal (7th Award), Army Achievement Medal (3rd Award), Combat Action Badge, United States Army Parachutist Badge, Drivers Badge (Wheeled), Royal Thai Army Parachutist Badge, Chilean Parachutist Badge, and the Peruvian Parachutist Badge. He is also a recipient of the Thomas Knowlton Award.
