CSM Richard C. Moore
Command Sergeant Major Richard C. Moore entered the Army from Blackwood, New Jersey as a Multi-Channel Transmission Systems Operator/Maintainer. He is married to the former Jacqueline L. Miles of Erial New Jersey, and they have two children: Jacob and Rebecca as well as one granddaughter, Sophia.
His enlisted assignments include: 10th Signal Battalion at Fort Drum NY where he served as a Forced Entry Switch Operator; 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey Korea where he served as a Remote Access Unit Team Chief; 327th Signal Battalion where he served as a Forced Entry Switch Section Sergeant; Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Battalion where he served as a detailed Recruiter; 63rd Signal Battalion Serving as a Platoon Sergeant; 5th Special Forces Group where he served as the Detachment NCOIC; Special Operations Command Central where he served as the Detachment 1SG, 30th Signal Battalion where he served as the Battalion Command Sergeant Major, 4th Infantry Division G6 SGM and the 160th Signal Brigade Command Sergeant Major.
CSM Moore’s military education includes Basic leadership course, Advance leadership course, Senior leadership course, Sergeants Major Academy, Military Freefall course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, 82nd Jumpmaster Course, USMC Mountain Communications Course. CSM Moore has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and a Master’s of Science-in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Excelsior and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
