Kenneth Estabrook

Mr. Estabrook is a native of Northern California and 4th Generation Civil Servant who recently accomplished 30 years of dedicated service to the United States of America. 

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1990 as an Engineman, where his career focused on maintenance and mechanical repair. After completing a four 1/2-year enlistment, he transitioned to the U.S. Army, serving another 4 1/2 years as a Petroleum Supply Specialist. He served as a Non-Commissioned Officer for the Quartermaster Corps and was honorably discharged in 1999. He continued serving in the Army Reserves 63rd RSC for another three years.

His military and civilian career have taken him across the country and around the world. Exposing him to Japanese and Korean cultures. Educating him on diversity and the value of learning from others. His experience consists of the following:

  • U.S. Army Public Works in Daegu, Korea, ERMD Production Controller (GS-11)
  • U.S. Army Medical Command in Korea, Chief of Operations and Maintenance (GS-12)
  • Navy Facility Engineering Command Public Works Okinawa, Requirements Branch Head (GS-12)
  • VA Healthcare System in Helena, Montana, Chief Facility Manager (GS-12)
  • General Service Administration in San Francisco. Deputy Property Manager for the Sansome Field Office (GS-13)

When opportunities and time permits, Mr. Estabrook continued his professional development with continuing education. He completed his first degree with Central Texas College and is working on his second degree with the University of San Francisco in Business Administration. He has countless technical and professional development through his employment, such as Advanced Facility Management training, Real Property Accountability, Physical Security, and Emergency Logistics Response training, trained through DAU and FATAS as a Certified COR (FACCOR) and a Project Manager (FACPPM).
Mr. Estabrook’s accomplishments and perseverance as a leader have given him an abundance of responsibility. He has successfully led up to 340 employees in large industrial facilities. As a U.S. Army Leader, he was trained in Supervisory Development and Army Civilian Staff College Advanced CES courses. He attended the Pre-Garrison Command Course and has previously directed a Garrison program consisting of Garrison Headquarters, Directorate of Public Works, Directorate of Emergency Services, Information Management Office, Morale Welfare and Recreation, and Training. His passion is servant leadership and program management.
