Col. Dan Misigoy

Col. Dan Misigoy is a native of Miami, Florida. Upon graduating from Boston University in 1997, he was
commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. He transferred to Logistics Corps as a Major
in 2008.

Misigoy holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, a Master's of
Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College, and a Master's of Science in
National Security Strategy from the National Defense University.

Misigoy's assignments include: Commander, 225th Brigade Support Battalion, 2d Brigade, 25th Infantry
Division; Medical Company Commander, C/3d Forward Support Battalion, 1st Brigade, 3d Infantry Division where
he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom-I; and Medical Platoon Leader, 2-1 Infantry Battalion, 172d
Infantry Brigade where he deployed to Sinai, Egypt in support of Multinational Force & Observers.

His key staff assignments include: Corps J4/G4, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Turkey; Senior Sustainment
Observer/Coach-Trainer, National Training Center; G4 Chief of Material, I Corps; Support Operations Officer and
Battalion Executive Officer, 702d Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Stryker Brigade, 2d Infantry Division where he
deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; Corps Logistics Planner, I Corps where he deploy in support
of ISAF Joint Command in Afghanistan; Interagency Fellow, U.S. Agency for International Development where he
served in Haiti in response to the 2010 Earthquake; Observer/Coach-Trainer for Medical Platoons, Headquarters
Troops, Forward Support Troops, and Support Operations, National Training Center; BCT S4, 1st Brigade, 3d
Infantry Division where he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom-III; Battalion S3, 3d Forward Support
Battalion, 1st Brigade, 3d Infantry Division; Division Medical Plans Officer, 3d Infantry Division; Executive Officer,
C/172 Support Battalion, and Assistant Support Operations Officer, 172d Support Battalion, 172d Infantry Brigade.

Misigoy is a graduate of the AMEDD Officer Basic Course, Combined Logistics Captains Career Course,
Support Operations Course, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Defense Strategy Course, Defense
Planners Course, and the National War College.

Misigoy’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (1 Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service
Medal (4 Oak Leaf Clusters), NATO medal, Multinational Force and Observer Service Medal, Combat Medal
Badge, Expert Field Medical Badge, and Air Assault badge.

Misigoy is married. They have two daughters.
