The Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization & Security provides operational support to all elements of the Detroit Arsenal Arsenal the areas of regional personnel and information security, installation emergency response planning and execution, mobilization, demobilization, deployment, and redeployment, coordination and synchronization of training on the installation, individual schooling and training.

The Plans and Operations Division is the principal advisor and technical expert regarding all Garrison operations and Installation Protection, Mission Assurance, Antiterrorism, and Emergency Management activities. The division provides coordination of garrison support operations, antiterrorism program support and emergency management services to include management of the installation emergency operations center. All services are focused to provide a safe and secure environment for the soldiers, civilians and families that work on or visit the installation.

Visual Information provides photo and video services to all tenants on the Detroit Arsenal. They also manage the auditorium in Bldg. 200.
